The 2024-25 FAFSA is here, and now is the best time to remind your high school seniors about the importance of completing and submitting this form to apply for federal and state financial assistance for college. This critical step is the first in the process of requesting aid to help cover educational expenses.
Given your packed schedule and the importance of early FAFSA notification to students and parents, we’ve loaded our FAFSA Toolkit for Counselors with resources that are “ready to roll” for your convenience. The tools provided in the kit are available at UCanGo2.org, for you to download and use as you please. Currently, there is a mix of resources from the 2024-25 Dependency Questionnaire, to FAFSA Facts, to FSA ID Worksheets in English and Spanish. This year we also added an FSA ID Flowchart, Items Needed to Complete a FAFSA, and our Finish the FAFSA in 5 Steps in Spanish.
